I will tell you about the parts of  the ear first.

There are inner ear, outer ear, cochlea, and auditory nerve.

Now, I will tell you about how does the hearing works.

Outer ear catch sounds as they move parts us.

Sounds enter the inner ear through cochlea.

The auditory nerve send  the sound as information to the brain.

This one is very important part.

We need hearing to talk.

We have to know what is other person saying.

Also, we can know where sounds are coming from and how far are they.
